While our neighbouring countries have been investing in the building of fibre networks for years, in our country consumers are being confused by misleading advertising where copper networks are posing as fiber networks.

The Last Mile vzw wants to bring awareness about the differences between the technologies, while focussing on fibre. Fibre is after all the only futureproof and environmentfriendly solution for the restrictions of speed, reliability and capacity that copper networks bring with them.

IT Infrastructure

Many corporations in our country still work with significantly old IT-infrastructure and software. This often leads to an economic loss because of security issues, decreased productivity, and incompatibility with customers and suppliers.

Here, The Last Mile vzw wants to play a large part in informing and coaching managers and leaders about the consequenses the indifference of IT-managers can bring.

Corporate social responsibility

For our modern society the work-life balance of employees, as well as the community that a company belongs to, becomes much more important. The Last Mile vzw supports and educates entrepreneurs and managers that want to lift their companies to this higher dimension.
